Suspected Galaxy Fall Nine Days? Liquid:Shard: Installation Art

Feel? The art of particles in the air, is blooming with unusual fragrance.

Over 15000 square feet (about 1400 square meters), installation art "Liquid Shard" in the center of the city of Pershing Square in the wind swaying. This suspected Galaxy fell nine days of shiny works, created by the Poetic Kinetics Patrick Shearn, the use of polyester film and single fiber, to create a bright reflective effect.

A gentle breeze, the two silver wave, which is about 15 to 115 feet (from 5 to 35 meters) from the ground, is as natural as it is in the mid air. In this work, Shearn was inspired by our perception of nature, and human vision is limited, so he can hope that the audience from different angles or so, to enjoy this special great art.

"These gentle fluctuation of debris, like the air around us flow, you can feel, but can't see its mobile event. "When a thing is magnified or slowed down, we begin to understand the next plant operation does not break, and grasp the invisible undercurrent," I want to do what I can to extend this concept to make interesting works. Shearn said.

事实上,这项作品属于 NOW Art LA 持续举行的户外展览之一,而此计划是由 The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks、NOW Art LA、the AAV School 和 Pershing Square 共同合作。虽然「Liquid Shard 液碎」目前已展出完毕,但艺术的潮流,是不会止息的,对吧?
